| | takin a deep breath! | ] | this based on the events of the conquest history of Alexander III of Macedon, a truly unique individual who's legacy of conquest was situated in ancient Persia, which encompassed lands we now call Israel, Lebanon, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and parts of Western India
Alexander's fabulous empire was diluted after his untimely death at age 32. After his death, his heir was not placed upon the throne of this empire. Turns out the military leaders, his closest companions, did not approve of the queen Alexander had chosen.
Another son, also of mixed parentage was not placed into leadership either.
The premis of this story then: WHAT IF . . . Alexander had possessed a wife palatable to the men of his inner circle. A queen they could be proud of, strong, blessed by the Gods, destined as was Alexander, with adequate training for her position.
My princess has no name other than the descriptive "daughter of the light" Her sons will not appear until late in the story |
